  • Fence Of Salvation

    $19.99

A Light Of The World Ministry Title

The Fence of Salvation is an allegory, an extended metaphor, of some of the basic concepts of Christianity such as love, faith, forgiveness, mercy, justification, sanctification and redemption. These concepts are explained from the Hebrew and Aramaic “word pictures.” Each letter of the ancient Hebrew alphabet was originally a picture of something from everyday life that became a stylized pictograph in early Semitic writing. When these pictographs or letters are joined together to form words, the word pictures provide a simple understanding of difficult concepts. The door of life into the fence of salvation is Jesus Christ, the author of salvation. We are connected to the fence by the Spirit of Holiness. And the fence of salvation surrounds believers as a haven of refuge that is rich with God’s goodness, care, protection and provision. What an exciting picture of salvation!

  • Salvation : What Every Catholic Should Know

    $16.95

At every Sunday Mass, Catholics confess that Jesus came down from heaven “for us men and for our salvation.” But what does “salvation” mean? In this robust and accessible book, Scripture scholar and theologian Michael Patrick Barber provides a thorough, deeply Catholic, and deeply biblical, answer. He deftly tackles this complex topic, unpacking what the New Testament teaches about salvation in Christ, detailing what exactly salvation is, and what it is not. In easy and readable prose, he explains what the Cross, the Church, and the Trinity have to do with salvation. While intellectually stimulating, Salvation: What Every Catholic Should Know is deeply spiritual, and at its core is the salvific message that God is love, and his love is one of transformation and redemption.

  • Christ Is Yours

    $23.99

Maintaining hope in Christ for the weary soul.

In the face of trials and tribulations, persevering in the faith can be a difficult task. For Puritan pastor–theologian William Gouge, this question was of critical importance for those he shepherded. His theology of assurance during the difficult seasons in life provided direction and help to weary souls.

In Christ Is Yours, Eric Rivera explores Gouge’s theology, revealing a man who cared deeply about the truths of Scripture and the spiritual lives of his community. His theology was focused on the promises of God found in Scripture while staying grounded in the realities of life. This message of perseverance and hope is just as necessary for Christ-followers today as it was then. Written for academics and pastors alike, Rivera brings this important theology to a modern audience.

  • Can White People Be Saved

    $40.00

No one is born white. But while there is no biological basis for a white race, whiteness is real. What’s more, whiteness as a way of being in the world has been parasitically joined to Christianity, and this is the ground of many of our problems today. It is time to redouble the efforts of the church and its institutions to muster well-informed, gospel-based initiatives to fight racialized injustice and overcome the heresy of whiteness.

Written by a world-class roster of scholars, Can “White” People Be Saved? develops language to describe the current realities of race and racism. It challenges evangelical Christianity in particular to think more critically and constructively about race, ethnicity, migration, and mission in relation to white supremacy.

Historical and contemporary perspectives from Africa and the African diaspora prompt fresh theological and missiological questions about place and identity. Native American and Latinx experiences of colonialism, migration, and hybridity inspire theologies and practices of shalom. And Asian and Asian American experiences of ethnicity and class generate transnational resources for responding to the challenge of systemic injustice. With their call for practical resistance to the Western whiteness project, the perspectives in this volume can revitalize a vision of racial justice and peace in the body of Christ.

  • How Many Ways To Heaven

    $13.99

I know many people do not even read scriptural references in most books. I encourage you to read and ponder over all the references including those from the Quran.

    HOW MANY WAYS TO HEAVEN?

Is it 1, 2, 3 or even more ways? This is a matter of life and death. Is God a source of confusion and deception? Will God contradict Himself by changing His words through different Messengers?

Jesus clearly said that, ‘I am the Way. The Truth and the Life.’ Jesus never said He was one of the ways. Question is, are there enough scientific, investigative, prophetic or spiritual evidences to prove the deity or uniqueness of Jesus? What did Mohammed or Quran (Islam) say? How about Gandhi and Buddha? This book further throws light on certain issues in Christianity such as sin, premarital sex, and homosexuality? Is there a gay gene? What is true prosperity?

I think that if only material blessings were the critical proof of true prosperity then I think a lot of unbelievers are more loved and more blessed by God. Does Christian dressing matter today? You will discover the hidden message of Laminin.

The advantages of this book is that you can learn how to achieve salvation within only 455 pages.

Thus, you can learn what you need to know with less reading and with less time.

This book is for Christians, Jews, and everyone else!

I know that the Bible can be difficult to believe but the Bible contains prophesies which can help the Bible prove itself to be true.

  • Revolutionary Gospel : Salvation In The Theology Of Walter Rauschenbusch

    $21.00

A Revolutionary Gospel focuses on the centrality of Rauschenbusch’s concept of salvation-his view of both personal and social salvation-in its relationship to the Kingdom of God in the teachings of Jesus. Rauschenbusch believed that Jesus’ teachings were revolutionary and aimed to bring about the moral transformation of the individual and society.

William Powell Tuck describes how Rauschenbusch’s concept of redemption requires a transformation of society as well as individuals-and that no one can genuinely be redeemed without this redemption affecting the social culture as well. A Revolutionary Gospel shows us how Rauschenbusch’s revolutionary concept of salvation is still relevant today.

  • Making It To Heaven

If You Died Today, Are You 100 Percent Certain You Would Go to Heaven? You Can Be. “I thought I had to wait until I die to find out if I will go to heaven.” Not true. You can know right now. John, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ wrote, “I write these things to you . . . so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13). God loves us and desires to spend eternity with us in heaven, so He wants us to have no doubt about whether or not we will go there. He has even made a pathway that leads to this eternal life, and provided us with everything we need to find and follow it. In Making It to Heaven: How to Be Certain You’ll Spend Eternity with God, you will find answers to these all-important life questions and find keys for walking this pathway: * How does sin affect our eternal destiny? * Will everyone go to heaven when they die? * What is the one way to eternal life in heaven, with God? * How can I know for certain I will go to heaven when I die? • Matter Of Life And Death

    $11.95

Kent Philpott writes about the difference between true and false conversion. Originally published by Evangelical Press, UK, in 1998, this third edition has been updated to answer questions and challenges from readers and critics from the past fifteen years. Are you a Christian? What is your conversion story? Is it possible you were falsely converted? What are the marks of true conversion? This is a matter of life and death – the only issue in life that really counts. Don’t be afraid to answer these questions. To get this wrong could result in a forever and horrific eternal dying. Christian leaders must be concerned about the need for genuine conversion. Various techniques to get people into the pews result in false conversion, time and again. We must be courageous enough to present the offending gospel and trust the Holy Spirit to bring about actual new birth. If we are given something to do, many will do whatever is being asked-whether it be circumcision, baptism, saying a prayer, joining a church, changing behavior, or giving intellectual ascent to various points of doctrine. These are things we can do. But it is not the same as looking to Jesus alone as Savior. And precisely what I had been doing was unwittingly giving people something “holy” and “Christian” to do. They would generally “do it” and conclude that they had met the requirements for salvation. The stakes are high. Consider this: “For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other the fragrance of life. Who is equal to such a task?” (2 Corinthians 2:15-16) Don’t wait until it’s too late to discover the truth of false conversion!

    10. Redemption: Setting The Prisoners Free
    11. Victory: Disarming The Powers

    Additional Info
The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is presented in all four Gospels, and occupies considerable space in the overall narrative. How could the life, let alone the death, of one man 2,000 years ago be the salvation of the human race? The biblical explanation is that the crucified one was the Son of God, acting and suffering in cooperation with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. This is the primary answer to “the scandal of particularity.” The death of this one person has universal, inclusive and cosmic significance, because in him the Creator acts and suffers. Further, there is the special relationship between Christ and humanity: he was “with” us, and he was “for” us. The grandeur of the cross lies in the fact that here the incarnate Son of God offered himself in our place, bearing the penalty for our sin. The cross achieved expiation, propitiation, reconciliation, justification, redemption, forgiveness and victory. No single one of these tells the whole truth, nor do all of them together exhaust the meaning of the cross. Macleod shows that these concepts are interrelated and interdependent, and that together they give a coherent picture of the salvation wrought by Jesus at Calvary.

    $34.99

What must I do to be saved?

Salvation is the bedrock of our faith and the touchstone for faithful living. It is the good news of God drawing near to us as individuals but also as communities of faith. This book helps us understand that when we say “Jesus saves,” we stand on scripture that proclaims a God who, through Jesus, heals, liberates, and recues. As each generation that has gone before, we too must find own awareness and then respond and participate in God’s work as transformed people, serving together as the Body of Christ, who have also signed up ongoing, personal and social transformation.

This book as an invitation to a journey of salvation oriented toward increased understanding but also to transformed commitments, renewed allegiances, and fresh practices. To address the grand narrative of Scripture in a way that takes seriously its essential focus on the journey of salvation is to open ourselves to fresh (and perhaps refreshed) perspectives on the world and, thus, on life in the world. In this book Joel Green show how salvation can illumine new categories for conceiving the world, for making sense of our experiences, and for directing our lives.
