Forever New

Young Dan Hunt reluctantly accepts the invitation of his Bible college classmate to make Saturday night visits to witness for Christ in the waterfront area of Port Palms. This community has long been known as a cesspool of crime, immorality, drunkenness, and drug addition. He, however, becomes deeply involved with the troubled people he meets and returns often to help them. Dan decides he should continue serving in the waterfront community after graduation instead of accepting the pastorate of a prestigious church. His fiancee breaks their engagement. A mounting number of problems troubles Dan, including the efforts of the waterfront’s “Jezebel” to gain his affection. With the help of others, however, he continues his work, and by God’s grace and power, he eventually sees a new day come to the waterfront, as many testify that in Christ “all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
