Heart Failure
$17.99Not even Witness Protection could keep him safe . . . but he’ll do anything to keep the woman he loves out of danger.
Dr. Carrie Markham thought Adam Davidson was the perfect fiance. But that was before a drive-by shooting led to his confession that he’s a defector from the witness protection program and is now running for his life. Adam isn’t the man she thought he was, and every moment she spends with him seems to bring her closer to her own death.
Adam must convince Carrie he’s innocent and figure out who’s trying to kill him. She must decide if her love for him is real-and whether he’s worth the risk.
And the clock is ticking.

Holy Luck presents three inspirational collections of Peterson’s poems, most of which have never before been published, in one transcendent volume:
*Holy Luck (poems based on the Beatitudes)
*The Rustling Grass (poems about uncovering the Kingdom of God in the ordinary)

Glimpsing Into The Kingdom
$15.98“Friend, your sins are forgiven.” That is what Jesus said. And that is good news indeed. Now what?
This is the question that confronts all of us who come to faith in Christ. Just as the demon-possessed man was left with a gnawing sense of unknowing, we are left with that same feeling. We know that what we were is not what we are to be. And we know that the process of becoming is a great metamorphosis.
To understand the glimpses of truth in the kingdom teachings is to peer down the road a ways into a great adventure with God.
In this new kingdom we have entered, the king himself calls us friend and tells us something brand new about us: our sins are forgiven. Whereas before our identities have been forged by brokenness, deception, shame, and hurt, our new identities are something else altogether. We are kingdom citizens, intent on being about the business of the kingdom.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

Peace : A Crittenden County Christmas Novella
$15.99Beth Miller has a secret. Ever since she met Englischer Chris Ellis while helping out at the Yellow Bird Inn, she can’t stop thinking about him. She knows nothing could ever come of a relationship, of course-Chris had revealed he was working undercover in Crittenden County with his job as a DEA agent. That meant he faced danger daily, carried a gun, and was completely unsuitable for an Amish woman like herself.
But she knew he felt the attraction, too. It was the reason he had left so suddenly, telling her he’d never see her again. Nothing good could ever come from a romance between the two of them.
Then, three days before Christmas, as Beth is once again filling in at the Yellow Bird Inn, Chris shows up on the doorstop, bleeding. And as Beth cares for him, it’s clear that a relationship between the two of them is inevitable. But are they ready to sacrifice everything for this chance at love?

Let Hope In
$15.99Your past is not your past if it’s still impacting your present.
Do you ever feel as though your life has become a broken record? You’re hearing the same song play over and over again? Nearly every human being on earth has likely spent some time on the carousel of pain. Whether you’re dealing with the guilt and regret of your own sinful choices, or you’re sitting in the shame of someone else’s deceitful actions, God wants to bring you healing. Pastor Pete walks us through the process of transformation, teaching us that if pain is not transformed, it will only be transferred. He reveals God’s truths in this process through the biblical accounts of Joseph and David. Pete identifies the process of changing your life by these 4 choices:
Choice #1: Choosing to Transform Instead of Transfer
Choice #2: Choosing to Be Okay With Not Being Okay
Choice #3: Choosing to Trust Rather Than Please
Choice #4: Hurt People, Hurt People, But Free People, Choose to Free PeopleWhether you’re looking for a new beginning or just ready for a renewal in your walk with God, Pete shows us that anything is possible when you learn how to make new choices and let hope in.

Christology Ancient And Modern
$22.99Christology was the central doctrine articulated by the early councils, and it remains the subject of vigorous theological investigation today. The doctrine of Christ is a field of broad ecumenical convergence, inviting theologians from all denominational settings to fruitful collaborative exploration. In the contemporary setting, it is especially crucial for theologians to investigate the scriptural witness afresh, to retrieve classical criteria and categories from the tradition, and to consider the generative pressure of soteriology for Christology proper. The first annual Los Angeles Theology Conference sought to make a positive contribution to contemporary dogmatics in intentional engagement with the Christian tradition. Christology, Ancient and Modern brings together conference proceedings, surveying the field and articulating the sources, norms, and criteria for constructive theological work in Christology.

What Is The Meaning Of Sex
$25.00Sex is a big deal. And in our postmodern, post-Christian culture, Christians are feeling the pressure to ditch their traditional beliefs and conform to society’s evolving views on sexuality and gender. Responding to the pressure with conviction and clarity, this book spells out the Bible’s teaching on sex from a biblical perspective, arguing that the ultimate goal of all human sexuality is the glory of God. After outlining key biblical standards and explaining the true purposes for sex (procreation, pleasure, love, etc.), the latter portion of the book explores controversial issues such as homosexuality, the transgender movement, and polygamy. Firmly rooted in the pages of Scripture, this book sets forth a compelling vision of sexuality that is both soul-satisfying and God-glorifying.

Jesus Greater Than Religion
$19.99Abandon dead, dry, rule-keeping and embrace the promise of being truly known and deeply loved.
Jefferson Bethke burst into the cultural conversation in 2012 with a passionate, provocative poem titled “Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus.” The 4-minute video literally became an overnight sensation, with 7 million YouTube views in its first 48 hours (and 23+ million in a year). The message blew up on social-media, triggering an avalanche of responses running the gamut from encouraged to enraged.
In Jesus > Religion, Bethke unpacks similar contrasts that he drew in the poem-highlighting the difference between teeth gritting and grace, law and love, performance and peace, despair and hope. With refreshing candor he delves into the motivation behind his message, beginning with the unvarnished tale of his own plunge from the pinnacle of a works-based, fake-smile existence that sapped his strength and led him down a path of destructive behavior.
Bethke is quick to acknowledge that he’s not a pastor or theologian, but simply a regular, twenty-something who cried out for a life greater than the one for which he had settled. Along his journey, Bethke discovered the real Jesus, who beckoned him beyond the props of false religion.

Life pulls us in many directions, sometimes even to the point of pulling our souls apart. We know rest and reflection are necessary for a healthy life-even Jesus took time to get away from the crowds, away from the demands of everyday life, to pray, to spend time with close friends, to sleep. But when Carolyn Weber-emotionally and physically exhausted from managing her career as a college professor, writing her first book and parenting three children under the age of three-hears this truth from a friend, all she can think is: but who will do everything if I don’t? And this sets her on a journey to find the still, small space in each day. In these pages Carolyn reflects on the eternal beauty that lurks within the present. Drawing from literature, history and everyday life, Holy Is the Day is a collection of spiritual reflections that trace the way God’s ever-renewing grace is a gift of the present. Opening it we find poignant stories of endurance, humility, compassion, remembrance and gratitude, as well a harrowing account of near-death experience. Carolyn gives us new eyes to receive the precious gift of the present and give it away to others.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

When Christ calls people, he invites them on a journey-a journey taken together in community. We have reached a point in history, however, when we think of the church as a fixed place where isolated individuals show up, consume a Christian message, drink some coffee, and get on with their lives. The times demand, and the gospel proclaims, that we recover our identity as a church that is a people on a quest for the kingdom of heaven, formed intimately by a loving God and called onto a long journey for the sake of our neighbors and our world. In The Missional Quest you’ll learn how to take your church on a long run, and how to sustain yourselves and one another along the way, through the power of God for the sake of the world.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

It’s an Either-Or world. We find ourselves caught between competing factions, secular or religious, conservative or liberal. We are pulled between extremes on one side or the other. But the Christian faith holds together seemingly contradictory ideas: Jesus is both human and divine; God is both three and one. There is a paradoxical power in the Both-And. Rich Nathan and Insoo Kim show how Christians can live out the fullness of the gospel through the Both-And. They affirm that we believe in both proclamation and demonstration of the gospel, justice and mercy, and unity and diversity as one body with many parts. The answer is not to choose one or the other, but to hold both together for a richer, more holistic experience of Christianity. Then we will live into the realities of the kingdom of God, both now and not yet, on earth as it is in heaven. The Both-And Christian is both timeless and timely, hewing to the orthodoxy of traditional belief while always contextualizing our witness in a rapidly changing world. Discover how you can deepen your discipleship with the larger vision of the Both-And.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

Ox Herder And The Good Shepherd
$18.99A thoughtful, fascinating take on spiritual truth
In the twelfth century, the Chinese Zen master Kakuan Shien produced the pictures, poems, and commentaries we know as the Ten Ox-Herding Pictures. They were taken to Japan and became the standard version of these icons, tracing a universally recognizable path of contemplative spirituality.
Addison Hodges Hart argues that there is a similar spiritual vision between the Ten Ox-Herding Pictures and the teachings of Christ. Authentic spiritual life must begin with an inner transformation of one’s self, leading to an outward life that is natural and loving. In The Ox-Herder and the Good Shepherd Hart shares the fruit of his years of reflection on the simple, beautiful, humble, humorous, and joyful Ten Ox-Herding Pictures, presenting as they do a perennial parable through art.

Prodigal : A Ragamuffin Story
$17.99Jack Chisholm is on top of his game: lead pastor of a big church in a big city, thousands of members, a huge physical plant. His books sell millions of copies, and he is a public figure, sharing his life’s philosophy: ‘We have got to do better.’ He is also living a lie—nobody could be as holy as his congregants think he is, and like all of us, he has his share of faults, flaws, sins. When one of these comes to light, the board of deacons gives him a choice: walk away or be publicly shamed. They wouldn’t dare, he thinks. I mean too much to this church. So he laughs at them and refuses to even acknowledge what he has done. And they fire him, publicly, messily. Jack loses everything overnight: his church, his friends, his money, his reputation, and his family. His wife, Tracy, humiliated and disgusted with Jack’s recklessness and unwillingness to take responsibility, takes the church’s buy-out and their daughter Alison and goes into hiding. Jack has been a pastor his entire adult life. His only marketable skill—proclaiming the Word of the Lord—is now valueless. How to live? What to do? Take a minimum wage job? Give up? Kill himself? He falls into a bottle and hopes it all will blow over. At last, out of money, out of hope, the impossible happens. His father arrives to rescue him with these simple words: Come home. Thus begins Jack’s journey back . . . back to himself, back to hope, back to his Father.

Founders Key : The Divine And Natural Connection Between The Declaration An
$19.99Today the integrity and unity of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are under attack by the Progressive political movement. And yet, writes Larry P. Arnn:
“The words of the Declaration of Independence ring across the ages. The arrangements of the Constitution have a way of organizing our actions so as to produce certain desirable results, and they have done this more reliably than any governing instrument in the history of man. Connect these arrangements to the beauty of the Declaration and one has something inspiring and commanding.”

Frankly Speaking : Four Decades On The Air And Off A Memoir
$22.48Frank Reed and I share a long history together. For over 20 years it’s always been a pleasure to join Frank on the radio, or have him introduce me in concert. He’s been a supportive friend and the consummate professional. I always love when Frank shares his stories and now they’re all captured here, in ‘Frankly Speaking.’ His journey through secular radio, to finding Christ, his wife Patti, and his on air ‘home’ at KLTY in Dallas-Ft. Worth. It’s an address I hope he keeps for years to come! Within these pages you have the opportunity to look into the heart of the man behind the microphone, my good friend Frank Reed. Steven Curtis Chapman, Nashville, Tennessee I’ve always known that Frank had a way with words. For twenty-plus years I’ve laughed and cried as his rich voice inspired and informed listeners of all ages on KLTY Radio in Dallas. So it’s no surprise that the man who has held my attention behind the microphone carried that same authenticity and character to the written page. Yet, here I found more to the man than just the incredible ‘radio’ voice-celebrity. In the pages of his book, I found a jazzy wordsmith willing to share his authentic and sometimes painful journey. And once again, I found myself laughing, crying, and learning as he shared his journey of career, family, and faith. At some point, (as is often the case with many of my morning drives listening) I found myself wishing it didn’t have to end so soon. Dan Dean, Phillips, Craig and Dean, Colleyville, Texas ‘Frankly Speaking’, A Memoir, is the personal life journey of Dallas-Ft. Worth radio personality Frank Reed. From his humble beginnings in Kissimmee, Florida, to the halls of Rockefeller Plaza in New York where he worked on the air between Don Imus and Howard Stern, to his current radio address at KLTY in North Texas, Reed shares the adventures, stories and insights that led to the spiritual truths that now guide his life.

Confident Peace : Letting Revelation Change The Way You Live
$22.48A Confident Peace shows the book of Revelation as more than prophetic timelines or tales with apocalyptic images. It inspires full surrender to Christ and living with confident peace even when life falls apart. When hurt by the sins of others, when persecuted by ungodly governments, when impacted by the death and disease of a fallen world, when frustrated by friends and family who repeatedly turn from God instead of to Him, Revelation helps us walk these unwanted roads with confident peace. A Confident Peace also reminds us the more things change the more they stay the same. God s holiness, Satan s deception, and humanity s sinfulness are constants from age to age. Looking into the future, Revelation gives us a confident peace to recognize Satan s deceptions, overcome our sinful inclinations and honor God with our lives today. Furthermore, A Confident Peace gives us God s big picture. It reminds us the One who started it all wins it all. With over 550 Old Testament references, the book of Revelation ties together God s activity throughout scripture. Seeing the thread of God s hand tightly woven in our past and future gives us confident peace, especially when it feels life is unraveling all around us.

1 Nation Under God
$17.95One Nation Under God follows the spiritual direction of our country from the time the Puritans landed in the new world up to today. Our loss of faith in God and how that loss has impacted our society is profiled. It includes quotes from some of the people that had the most influence on the growth of our once great nation and some of the people and events that have caused our nation to decline economically, socially, and morally.
One Nation Under God includes many landmark court cases that have affected our way of life in the way the American people can worship the Lord in public and in private. One Nation Under God is a map of our rise to greatness and our decline to the potential oblivion of this once “”light on the hill”” for all the world to follow. It also is a guide on how to reclaim our greatness by turning back to God for His forgiveness and guidance.
The farther away we move from God the worse our society becomes. One Nation Under God sets out to prove to the country—possibly the world—that we are a Christian nation.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase
