Local artist Cortney Matz adds a colorful and simple beauty to the Bumbleweed Field’s pages. Cortney was in high school when she added her rich and textured style of water colors to The Bumbleweed Field. Her father, Dan was in the same men’s Bible study with Jim Carter and her Dad’s glowing endorsement sealed the venture. Today Cortney is a producer and communications specialists for CDR Productions and 1Voice Films in Northern Virginia. Her company’s most recent release is “For the Glory”. Look for more projects from Cortney’s fertile imagination in the near future.
